M+200% #10

We took one restart each and started playing.
The spawn was generous with gold, a very convenient stable near the Castle, 4 heroes on day 111, there's a Necro - Septi, decided to do some Necroing, especially since I spotted a skeleton power-up on the secondary hero. Managed to take the Necro village on day 111, and although I saw that the opponent also took one on the first turn, I decided to play. I designated Kira, who had been spotted in the tavern but not yet recruited, as my main. Even the dumb move didn't spoil the picture much: I ran Christian away from the Castle without giving up the ballista.
Day 112 - scouted the gold mines. One is guarded by 50+ gr Centaurs, the second by 20+ Vampires. There's a Griffin Conservatory and a Crypt on the respawn. The secondary area turned out to be very small, besides the mines there were no objects.
Day 113-114 - decided to take the mine guarded by Centaurs with Kira. I estimated there would be about 90 of them, but they should be manageable with the ballista, Haste, and stacks of Skeletons and Pikemen to cover the Archers. Due to a lack of gold, I spent the day near it, hesitant to attack with an incomplete stack of Archers, which were already few because of Christian. I bought more and attacked. There are 5 stacks of 19-18 each. On one of the turns I thought for a long time about whom to cast Haste on, and chose the shooters, who in their joy decided not to act, which caused them and the Skeletons to get hit hard. Oh well, now we have the mine. 9 Archers, 40 Skeletons, and 15 Pikemen remain. I move the army to Septi, she checks the Griffin Conservatory - 3-4 with a Grandmaster. I run her to the last unexplored corner of the respawn, just in case taking the entire army there.
Day 115-117 - I collect the remaining gold from the respawn, Septi finds a couple of stacks of Gremlins. I attack. The first ones have Grandmaster. It would all be fine, but the Archers clearly misunderstood something, maybe thought they were on vacation, but they didn't want to participate in the fight. 6 consecutive -morale, I've never seen that before. Only about 4 Archers remain, I attack the second guard, again with Grandmaster, 3 Archers remain. I realize that if I don't build the Cavalry, I simply won't have anything to fight the second one with. On day 117 the Cavalry finally gets built in the fort, I take the Crypt, Kira is at the stable.
Day 121 - Valya arrives with 11 Archers, so we have 20+. I retake the second gold mine. Losses are acceptable, but there's little time left on the timer.
Day 122 - I break through to the lava zone, there's a Conflux village and a hut with Tactics. I learn Tactics, and during the battles Kira got Air Magic.
Day 123 - I move the army to the other side, Septi breaks through to another zone. I find a quest artifact guarded by Griffins, I attack with a scout, there are almost 50 of them. The Cavalry has little health left, I decide to hit 12 Griffins with the Cavalry and finish them with the Archers. -morale on the Archers, -morale on the Cavalry. I'm already thinking whether it was worth getting involved with the Skeletons, but without them there's no decent meatshield stack.
Day 124 - I turn in the quest artifact, 10 thousand experience. Kira levels up Air Magic and Tactics. I build a Guild Level 2, there's Ice Bolt, and I sit down to replenish mana. I plan to break through a portal guarded by 50+ Magogs the next turn. Meanwhile, through the scouting view I see the opponent attacking with Andra against 10-19 gr Dendroid Guards (zone guard), he disappears, 5-9 Dendroids remain. Apparently, things aren't going well there.
Day 125 - I kill the Magogs, then kill the Archers from the other side, ending up right in the zone the opponent was trying to break into. I run towards him, picking up a Pandora's Box with 40 Gargoyles on the way. I'm a bit wary of Fire Flies and high-level magic, but the mass of meat, Mass Haste, and expert Tactics are reassuring. The surrender follows.
