P.S.: that same trolling begins as to what and why, although it was already obvious what and why
This rule has an established practice of application that has been in effect for several years, and during all this time no player has made such a mistake, or at least asked more experienced players how this rule is customarily interpreted. But if such a situation arose, say in the season league, and a player did three DDs, and then the season judge looked into the thread and said that it's fine, and after that another player did it in a tournament match and received a technical loss for it — then the situation becomes somewhat more complicated. In that case, it would be strange to overturn the result.
Alright, I will explain in detail. No trolling, honestly. The issue isn't about the specific situation that arose in Nitro and Redwhite's game. It's just that it always seemed to me that judging should be based on general rules for everyone. This means that in a disputed situation, the judge carefully studies the materials, then checks these materials against the current rules and the practice of applying those rules, after which they render a decision based on these rules. Not on the tournament situation, not on their own ideas of morale or the spirit of the game, but specifically on the rules. And in rendering a decision that seems logical, the judge supports this decision with a reference to a specific rule norm. But in the situation under discussion, there was no such reference, and I still cannot properly obtain one. Because if the decision was made based on a comment to clause 2.13 — that's strange, but okay; but if it's based on the Fair Play rule, then the question is no longer about a replay, but about more severe measures.
Why all this is important: there is a non-zero probability that I may one day need to appeal to the AC. Or my opponent may appeal to the AC. And in doing so, I would like to understand on what basis the AC makes its decisions, to what extent these decisions are motivated by current rules, and to what extent the AC considers itself free from the letter of the rules. That is exactly why I am asking questions.
