Spring Festival: Rebirth

The mangoes will only ripen in about three weeks. Yesterday, we went to a local... grove. They are still green.

I don't know how it is in India, but here, mangoes are always sold underripe. Which isn't actually that bad – at least they aren't rotten. If you leave them on the table for 4-5 days, they will ripen perfectly. As for why they are green in India, I don't know.
