Have you participated in or are you participating in any scientific conferences?

I participated in the Russia-NATO conference... I was just an attendee. They gave us these large headphones for translating the speeches of the Americans. Haha! I connected my MP3 player to them and just sat there listening to music. They also gave out briefcases with the NATO emblem. Later, I sewed various patches onto it and took it to the beach. After the conference, people came to the venue and held a rally with banners that said, "NATO GO HOME."
