Biara appeared on day 3, week 3, month 2, version 1.60, recruit level. With one hero, I retook the garrison she had passed through (Ossir was level 8 at this point), and sent a specially purchased hero to meet her and weaken her. After that, I brought out Faydaen from the castle and Biara was easily defeated right "on the street," without waiting for her to attack the castle.
