I'm not sure about this idea. It's likely that the drone doesn't need to be touched at all. It just seems to provide light, and when its owner is paralyzed, it might not even do that. It can only send an alarm signal, but I think if it could, it would have already done so.

While the last enemy was paralyzed, its droid also remained inactive.
