I thought that initially, a hydra has two heads and cannot grow another head until one is cut off. If a head is cut off, it doesn't automatically regenerate a new one; it simply gains the ability to grow two heads in place of the one that was cut off. Then the hydra eats a corpse and grows one head, then the hydra eats a second corpse and grows a second head. Am I wrong? Does the hydra automatically regenerate at the beginning of the turn?
The hydra starts with two heads and a saturation level of 1. If it eats someone, the saturation level becomes 2. Now, if it loses a head, at the beginning of the night, it will have three heads (2-1+2) due to the saturation. That's it. In other words, the head limit is increased by one, and the saturation turns into heads.
