why "majority," if it's just to hang someone? Who even voted, and even if it's just one person – that's the one who's "dead," and what motivated the single player who voted and why they took responsibility – that's a question for the other players.
Well, I think it doesn't work with 10 players (the game ends too quickly), which is why "No New Victims" is often suggested.
It's not that it's bad, but it makes Mafia much harder to play. After the first vote, they'll be exposed (even if only two or so people vote for the Mafia, the Mafia will have to counter with their own votes to prevent someone from being hanged). This requires a much more intense game. And logically, it's strange... A jury is guided by the majority of votes, not by a couple.
