Hmm, well, they came up with that later, of course. In Heroes 5, it's quite clear that Orcs revere Dragons; they simply worship a whole bunch of them, without choosing just one. Again, I'll mention the scenario in Tribes of the East; as far as I remember, there was a clear hint that it was Shalassa, and not some random water spirit. Correct me if I'm wrong.
