Yeah, I get it. I'm currently fighting on the lake; the green troops are awesome! I killed a super-uber-powerful elf (although without a large army, but he was well-leveled), and they gave me a bow. I found a quiver somewhere before that. As a result, I'm now using crossbowmen, inquisitors, and the new green troops. The city is almost fully built, I have less than five thousand gold, the dwarves are constantly getting in the way, the elves are running around with decent armies, and I haven't been able to break through the dwarven guard of the second dungeon yet...

The mummy army on the lake is causing big problems. I understand that they don't necessarily need to be killed, but they've severely damaged my army, mainly due to the Confusion spell.
