Jebus Cross - 4

The fairytale lands of Jebus are once again opening their doors to heroes!

A Skype chat conference has been created for tournament participants: CLICK

All reports will go into the seasonal rating

Game Rules:

1. These are consistent with the rules for online games in Heroes III. All changes adopted there will apply to this tournament.

2. Differences for Jebus Cross:

Colors for all games will be displayed in the tournament bracket (post №3)

Castle selection by elimination method: players take turns crossing out (removing) those they do not want to play from the full list of 9 castles, until only 3 castles remain. The player marked in blue in the tournament bracket starts crossing out; they choose their castle from the remaining three, then the second player chooses their castle from the remaining two.

Map setting options: map size XL-U, players - 2, computers – 0; teams – 0; no water, strong monsters, difficulty 160 %, turn time limit – 10 minutes.
Differences:
- In the Necropolis castle, Galtran can be chosen as the starting hero.
Restarts:
- Subjective restarts.
Each player has the right to take a restart/restarts without explanation no later than the end of their turn on the corresponding day. A player may take either 3 restarts on the first game day (111+111+111), or 2 restarts on the first and second days (111+112 or 112+111), or one restart on the third day (113).
- Restart due to slow roads. Taken upon request by at least one of the opponents immediately after map generation.
- Mandatory restart if a player has no ГО at all between their starting zone and the center, i.e., there is no ГО on any passage to the center. Taken on the day this fact is discovered.
- Mandatory restart if a player has no passage from their starting zone to the center. Taken on the day this fact is discovered.
- Restarts at the player's request,
a) if they lack GOT in the passage through which the road leads to the central treasure zone;
b) if they lack a road to the central treasure zone,
taken on the day these facts are discovered. If subjective restarts remain, a subjective restart is used at the player's choice (e.g., on 124, the remaining 111 restart can be taken). If subjective restarts have run out, the player is entitled to request an additional restart.
Additional rules for transitions between zones:
- To exit one's zone into the central treasure zone (zone 5), as well as to pass from the central treasure zone into other zones, it is necessary to break through the corresponding ГО. Using bugged passages between the central treasure zone and a specific zone is prohibited until the ГО between these zones has been broken.
- Passing through bugged passages between two zones 1-4 is only allowed if the ГО between the central zone 5 and both of these zones have been broken.
- Transition between zones using the Angel Wings artifact and the Fly and Dimension Door spells is permitted:
a) between any of the zones 1-4 and the central zone 5, if the ГО of any passage between the corresponding zones has been broken;
b) between two zones 1-4, if the ГО between the central zone 5 and both of these zones have been broken;
c) in cases of multiple ГО for one passage - to approach the ГО chosen by the player, provided that the first action in the new zone must be the elimination of that ГО.

3. Any changes to the game rules are permitted by mutual consent of the players, except for changing the template and the Fair Play rules

4. Game version SoD 3.2 (4.0) + HDmod or WT by mutual consent. Turn time for a custom template may be changed by mutual agreement.

5. Save all game files until the end of the tournament, up to its closing.

6. Before starting each tournament game, to avoid misunderstandings, do not hesitate to check the 1st post of the thread, i.e., this one, as there may be some changes and corrections.

Rules for Game Agreements:

1. No later than 7 days after the start of each round, players must contact their opponents and agree on a date and time to start the game between them.
- When postponing a match, agree on its resumption date.

2. If within 7 days the players cannot agree on any game date or one player writes to the opponent but receives no response, the organizer must be notified immediately and the message history for that specific game provided. Game dates will then be assigned.

3. If one of the players fails to show up for a game for which an agreement was reached without explaining the reasons, and subsequently the players cannot find a common time to start the game, a technical defeat for the absent player will be considered.

4. Players who are unable to finish their games within the allotted time must report the reasons in the forum thread or via private message to the organizer in as much detail as possible 24 hours before the deadline. Any means of notification must be used (including through other players). Failure to notify is considered a refusal to report this (negligent attitude, as an aggravating factor).

5. If at the end of the round's timeframe the game is on a save (at least one full game week from both opposing sides), the last chance to finish the game will be the established MANDATORY COMPLETION DATE (MCD) (or players may finish earlier), which the organizer will assign when distributing tournament stages. Failure to appear on the completion date will be considered a technical defeat regardless of the history of agreement problems, unless they previously resulted in an established technical result.

- The final is played as best of 3, starting with a score of 1-0 in favor of the player from the upper bracket.

- We continue to maintain the no avtosave system - be reasonable and weigh the risk against the possibilities. Accept a loss on neutrals as a defeat and do not look for someone to blame. Dear players, please do not ask for or give autosaves!
