Life in Melsgrad is bustling, even more so than usual today. And for good reason: all the Europautin stores were packed with customers due to a well-known event that doesn't even need mentioning here. ToX, overjoyed by this occasion, had a little too much to drink and started causing trouble, so he woke up in the morning not quite where he expected... WisTrit, on the other hand, wasn't interested in alcohol; he spent the whole night proving that his interior doors open in the correct direction.
Sesame behaved relatively peacefully, which didn't prevent her from ending up in the emergency room with a black eye. Злобный Ящур was undergoing treatment for his ailments in a phone booth, and, I must admit, he made himself quite comfortable there.
Someone received a small sum of money, which was immediately spent on salty popcorn and a subscription to a popular online game. Also, a wave of inspections swept through the city, but one notoriously controversial candidate for a Bachelor of Science degree still passed it successfully, without tarnishing the honor of his degree. Another resident was extremely upset: due to a decision from above, he was denied funding. Well, someone bought housing, although they had to go into debt...
Mona was driving down the street in a company car, inside which were freshly removed doors for safety reasons. Suddenly, a loud bang sounded, and the car swerved... It was clear: a bullet hit the tire. Mon was not destined to survive that terrible accident; her eyes were forever veiled in darkness...
A journalist from our newspaper "The Beautiful New World" conducted a survey among local residents. This time, the respondent was as candid as he was suffering from delusions of grandeur! Interview:
--Hello, what is your name?
--King Lear.
--Do you have much money, Your Majesty?
--About as much as James Cameron.
--Wow! Are you protected from unwanted nighttime guests?
--Oh yes! Tanks, a nuclear shield, and an amulet made of shells. That's enough for me.
--You are a true walking arsenal, Your Majesty! Thank you for the interview! Read our newspaper – the newest and most beautiful newspaper out of all Melsgrad’s new and beautiful newspapers!
--You're welcome.

Small addition. The inspections aren't displayed either; I forgot to mention this earlier. Please forgive me...
