HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

Despite my love for Heroes, it will never become chess. After all, these are different things. We need to look at the games that last the longest and what makes them so. Introducing new units and objects does not mean changing the gameplay and spirit. The main thing is to preserve the atmosphere, which, as I understand it, is what the team working on HotA is doing now.

P.S.: And the HD mod did change the gameplay a bit. The quick battles are different from how they are conducted in the original, but this doesn't bother anyone. Although, in my opinion, it would be worth considering allowing the AI player to use magic and include morale in quick battles.
