Yeah, that's more interesting. It seems logical, but would anyone have thought to use a truthful(!) note about a Mafia redirection to frame the enemy? I'm inclined to think that this is even less obvious. And clearly, it's a dumber move.
Regarding the fact that you didn't write this, I have serious doubts... Regardless, it's not very clear who else could have done it, or do you have a different opinion? Question about the players' strength.
