A THREAD FOR NEWCOMERS!

Hi. I think the best way to learn how to play is:
1. Hot-seat (when you and your opponent sit side-by-side and watch each other play, comment, and give advice). That's how I learned with my brother.
2. Watch recordings of other players' games, preferably with commentary, and try to "crush" the computer opponents (if you can't win against the computer, there's definitely no hope of winning against a real opponent).
3. Try to find a patient teacher who will (probably without much interest) explain everything.
This is my opinion, but the "skill" of playing Heroes is like the flight hours of pilots. You can study the theory for five years, watch all the streams, and know "all the features," but without real practice, it's all worthless.

1. I don't have any friends who play Heroes well enough to play "hot-seat" with. Except for my brother, who plays with the tactic of "building a Capitol, a Castle, upgrading all the units, and then gathering them for 2 weeks... and only then going on the offensive."

2. I'm watching Tvarinich's streams, so far only his. The guys in the chat sometimes explain the slang.

3. Well, I didn't find any really "patient" teachers in SC2, let alone Dota. But I really hope to find someone who wants to help. Also, advise me where a beginner can start playing.
Will Game Guard work? Or not? Because I saw people there who take 1 minute per turn. That's just ridiculous; I, as a noob in Heroes, need 5 minutes for a normal turn.

P.S. In my time, when I had the opportunity, I helped guys in SC2 go from "bronze" to "gold"; if they needed help, they would contact me on Skype, and I would answer.
