HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

First of all, the skeleton feature is for HD+, not for HD. And secondly, it doesn't affect the gameplay, it just reduces the hassle of managing a free slot. It doesn't increase the player's capabilities, but it does reduce the chance of making a mistake due to carelessness.

Moreover, some of the HD+ features do affect the gameplay - gems in the Nagash's armor, healing bugs for the Quick, healing the Berserker bug.

I'll forgive everything, just don't touch the precious gems in the Nagash's armor. I've been playing since "The Restoration of Erathia," and that's exactly how it was. This arrangement corresponds to the spirit and logic of the game, not the sulfur that appeared in later versions. Therefore, Baratorch in this case simply restored historical justice and corrected the developers' oversight.

P.S.: As for the window for adding skeletons: I'm not strongly against it and am willing to accept the majority opinion, but hands off the precious gems in the Nagash's armor.
