I've heard the phrase too, but without knowing the source, it's the last thing I remember, at least for me. In such situations, the main thing is not to panic. It may seem that the Mafia are eliminating a town member, but such unanimous executions happen in all cases; it depends more on other factors than on the role of the person being executed. Ara's behavior during the execution is absolutely classic, whether they are Mafia or a town member, but the evidence is too simple in this interpretation, and not executing based on it would be a failure, unless the person being executed is revealed and convincingly defended by someone.
