It’s not that I want to actively defend Doug; randomness can play a role, but still – why Doug? Why not any other of the remaining 10 players, about whom we know just as much as we know about Doug?

I didn’t like that Doug picked up on Vara’s idea about the Ara-dragon without properly explaining it. It looks like a Mafia connection: they came up with ideas and supported them together. Even if it’s not a connection, it still doesn’t seem like entirely peaceful behavior in my opinion.
