Player100, regarding the treasure, there's no need to dig for it yourself. Search around the haystacks in the northern field, and when you find it, a corresponding message will appear, and an additional quest will be activated (it will continue if you manage to find one of the hidden caches, which is unlikely, considering how diligently I hid them back then :)). If you capture the lighthouse, reinforcements will arrive the next day. They appear at a specific location near the port. If they don't arrive, it's possible that either a hero or random mobs are standing on that spot (you can clear out the entire harbor as a last resort).
