Expedition into the cave.

In the morning, a rooster woke up the entire group. It was a special rooster, with sadistic tendencies. To begin with, it would strut all the way from the chicken coop to Valerio's house: the coop was not in the field, but still halfway there. It preferred to crow exclusively on the porch railing (perhaps this was also related to the fact that it was afraid of revenge from the awakened dog). The crowing itself was also particularly loud, and moreover, it didn't stop until it had used up all the air from its despicable lungs to convey its entire rooster octave to the sleeping people, down to the last note. It also tried not to interrupt the concerts for too long, so as not to let the humanoids and the dog fall back asleep.
