The children happily climbed through the window (the boy helped the girl) and began to rummage through the chests. Sliirr, however, found himself in a corridor, long and spacious, with several doors leading into it, though not many. Tapestries and carpets hung on the walls, and crystal vases stood on special pedestals. There was also a Sylvan armor standing to the side, but such armor is not popular among the Sylvan due to its great weight; only mounted warriors use it, and even then, not very often. Here, it didn't even seem like it was intended to be worn. At the end of the corridor was a wide staircase leading to the second floor.
