If a person claims that the essence of Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam is the same, it means only ONE thing: they do not understand the essence of Buddhism, Islam, or Christianity.

But what is the essence of any religion in general, and Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam in particular?;)

And the similarities between, for example, Buddhism and Christianity are much greater than the differences (see, for example, D.T. Suzuki's book "Mysticism: Christian and Buddhist").
