The only question is: do you want to be associated with a specific faction present in the storyline (in which case, your name will have to be changed) or keep the abstract faction as is? And also, the bonus for the male gender is given when all physical characteristics are leveled up. Accordingly, for the female gender, it's given when all spiritual characteristics are leveled up.
