Just to clarify – is it possible to replay a situation in biathlon from the moment when the rules were violated?

Nothing can be replayed, and nothing is replayed anywhere because of a violation, even if it can somehow be justified. Perhaps the only exceptions in sports are situations of obvious bias or major exceptions.

In biathlon, the main penalties are the addition of extra seconds/minutes, which is the primary unit of measurement in the competition. This time is usually added immediately and communicated to the team, which then informs the biathlete. For example, if you run the entire distance in 30 minutes, the final protocol will add the time prescribed for the violation, and your result will be, for example, 35 minutes, which will drop you 20-40 places.

If you win a game and are awarded a medal, but later a violation is noticed (like searching through saves in our case), the medal is taken away and another person is awarded it, the one who was lower in the ranking, and the country's sports federation will also be punished for something.
