What are the three most important scientific and technological discoveries that have shaped human history?
1. I agree with the previous speaker.
2. We wouldn't have invented electricity (and, consequently, computers) if we hadn't had the concept of force. Newton's laws are what fundamentally changed human thinking, opening up new horizons that were inaccessible to followers of Aristotle.
3. The discovery of electrical force. Thanks to it, a science such as chemistry was substantiated, and it became possible to predict new chemical reactions. Electricity also received an explanation (initially, it was represented as the movement of some kind of fluid, if I'm not mistaken). Moreover, this is the first, most important step towards understanding the structure of matter, and therefore semiconductors (although this is not enough, some understanding of quantum physics is needed, but still), and therefore computers.
That's how I see it.
