A split vote happens often, but it's highly desirable to have a third person involved, otherwise it's just an unnecessary reveal. And a strong vote, especially on a key Mafia role, makes even less sense.

I won't respond to this. I've never used this tactic, and I don't remember if a third participant is needed or not. Besides, your vote wasn't on him. And you can always throw out a "suspicion" just like that.
