Yeah... minus 16 for second place in the tournament, considering that the underdog maintained their point level... :)

Why would the leader push the UNDERDOG down with the same force as the player who is right on their heels? Please answer this question!

:) His main goal is to push that specific player away, and then let them fight amongst themselves. But what prevented the player in second place from completing it in at least 11 days? Was it the RATING?

The rating simply reflected the fact that in this particular race, the leader pushed the second-place player so hard that the entire group fell back. In other words, he demonstrated the leader's strength in reality, and the strength of the others as well. The second-place player fell back significantly, the third is now slightly behind the second, and so on. The force of the push on the underdog has completely faded. But the fact that the player in second place didn't gain any points doesn't mean anything; they could have been in fourth place. As it is, they played, albeit unsuccessfully, but managed to stay in second place. This means their efforts were not in vain. Skipping the tournament could have had even worse consequences, ESPECIALLY if the bonus ended
