The manual is wrong. In the game, each territory and each hero (excluding minor ones like Godric, Findan, and various Rutger and Ossir) has its own unique music. Each faction also has its own music during battles and when skipping a turn. All these correspondences are defined in the extended editor, under the Music tab: it contains links to the music files in the game's Music folder.
