Actually, it's interesting, but it seems like it was done on purpose. After all, everyone remembers how powerful artifacts used to drop from mermaids in the third game. You could take huge risks for any item from "Alliance of Angels," because the advantage was significant, and even more so if you got several... In the fifth game, there are no such powerful artifacts anymore; the maximum bonus to stats from a single artifact is +8 (the armor of the forgotten hero), and all the others range from +0 to +4. In general, artifacts have become significantly weaker, although some old artifacts that don't give a bonus to stats but have other useful bonuses still remain. These include spellbooks, angel wings, various speed-boosting boots, and so on. It should also be noted that with the introduction of initiative, artifacts have appeared that are strong precisely because they increase or decrease this parameter. And now, the sixth game... Hmm, what can I say? I don't know how much the situation has changed since I last played this game, but if it hasn't, then the only incentive to reclaim artifacts is the experience from the mobs that guard them. -----

Yeah, and also lower the stats. Otherwise, stats in the dozens look ridiculous, while not really affecting the battle – the damage of a neutral unit and the damage of the exact same unit in the army of an enemy hero, enhanced by his stats, don't differ much. Or what about morale of 20, which only triggers 1-2 times in a battle?

But this, in my opinion, doesn't matter. What difference does it make how the bonuses are recorded? The main thing is that these bonuses are easy to calculate.
