Over the past few years, if I'm not mistaken, they only added Solzhenitsyn to the program.

It would have been better if they hadn't added him; I haven't read anything worse.
"War and Peace," by the way, is a great book. Everyone is intimidated by its size, but it's actually quite engaging. Only the last few chapters, where it's all philosophy (the same idea is expressed and repeated for many, many pages), are unreadable, that's true.

A myth? I've never even heard of such a myth; who even thinks that way? Our history teacher at school worked at our school and at two or three universities at the same time to make a decent living. And he also worked at a museum.
