Why is that? In a regular Heroes forum thread, there's one post per day, but in the Mafia thread, there are 100 posts per day. Where's the equality?

It depends on how talkative a particular person is. There's also plenty to discuss in Heroes, sometimes. For example, you can start a debate about... the usefulness of archers! On average, though, activity is higher in the Mafia thread.
