09.04.2012 HellLighT (Blue, Swamp, Wystan, Galthran) def MeFi (Red, Stronghold, Crag Hack, Crag Hack) Jebus cross 132
I won't go into too much detail, or I'll go crazy from huge reports. We played with a break, the layout was decent from the start — 27 lizards, Galthran is sitting in the tavern with 2 stacks, and right next to the main there's a Necromancer's Cloak lying behind the gnals! Well, it was a no-brainer, immediately a couple of chests — Gosha already has expert Necromancy, spread out with 6 heroes... The respawn generated huge, but almost all of it was on impassable terrain, on one side of the castle — 2 days' walk you hit a GO (dragon utopia), on the other side a block from a Dragon Fly Hive with a Pandora's box, so necromancy was very hard because of this, I spotted an external dwelling of wyverns, lizzies, and hydras. On day 115, I take the Pandora's for ogres with 15k experience, Gosha is leveling perfectly — Offense, Logistics, Earth (later Tactics and Intelligence were added too), only 3 Dragon Fly Hives on the respawn and all small, by day 117 hydras in the castle. I spent the week mostly running around + because of the ranged guards of external dwellings, I only saved up 150 skeletons. At the start of the second week, I cleared a couple of Imp habitats (20 and 40) and moved towards the GO, on day 123 I'm standing next to it with a speed boost, having 250 skeletons, 23 wyvern monarchs, 6 hydras, 50 lizards, and small fry, the creatures fall without losses, and right behind them a Sword +5 All behind gr ogres — excellent! As it turned out, the opponent and I were thrown into different corners, Crag's stats in the tavern when he was visible during the second week barely exceeded 10 (except attack), which couldn't help but please me, on day 125 I took a treasure chest and sent scout heroes in 2 visible directions... on one side a couple of Dragon Fly Hives and a Dragon Utopia were visible, on the other a long winding unremarkable road... the choice was obvious, due to the inconvenient location of the Dragon Fly Hives I spend 2 turns collecting all that joy, the Dragon Utopia — the pre-miners gave KZ and a belly +4a +4d... not much, on day 127 the scouts reach the Rampart village on the grass near the opponent's exit, already marked with a red flag, meaning he just came out — stats are crap, I charge in with a scout hero and a snake stack, kill 3 of the opponent's scouts, but I can't take the village — too much meat sitting there, pity... that would have ended it all right there. Day 131 arrives and the opponent jumps into the village with a portal, grabs the Dragon Utopia near the village and flies back on the same portal... well, I figure he also dug up a Town Portal somewhere, on my turn I enter the tavern and my eyes start popping out of their sockets... stats have grown 2.5 times and exceed mine... I was about to howl at such injustice, but you have to fight to the end... I buy up, upgrade wyverns, not enough for hydra upgrade, but that's fine, I take the abandoned village with a scout hero and with Galthran at an insane speed boost with Logistics and Boots I cover an incredible distance along the opponent's respawn road, but I still fall short by a couple of tiles... the calculation was that he has no mana, because the red player doesn't regen on his turn, and until the utopia, his knowledge was only showing 9 + a couple of portals and magic in the utopia and on the guard... the opponent himself is happy with his luck, saying that with such a layout you can even compete... I already want to quit, because his explosion would hit harder than mine, stats 28 20 16 19 vs my 19 20 12 17, and a visible army of 10-19 behemoths, 20-49 thunderbirds... 4 angels, which he had shown earlier on a scout hero, on day 132 an attack follows from the opponent, on one hand joy — the army turned out to be minimum: 10 behemoths, 21 thunderbirds, 4 angels, 40 wolf raiders and singles vs 400 skeletons, 40 wyvern monarchs, 9 hydras, 50 lizards, 16 wasps, 9 gorgons, and 17 snake stacks. But my explosion for 1200 only kills 5 behemoths, I'm puzzled... I look — and there's a Vial of Life, a setup ;( But oh miracle, the opponent casts Mass Haste instead of an explosion, as it turned out the portal was a scroll with built GM, but Crag Hack made me nervous, with 3 morals and 3 luck from the neck artifact vs my -1 morale made themselves known on the very first turn, when the wyverns lost their turn, and the opponent got morale and killed all the meat, but it didn't help against the power of the explosion and a bunch of skeletons with wyverns. Thanks for the game
P.S. and I still wrote too much :D
That was the case  up to day 115 I played everything very beautifully, working with long chains along the roads; as soon as I left them — everything immediately broke down :( in the end I took 5 external dwellings (wolves, goblins, orcs, birds, bears) + 12357 in the castle. Both secondary towns — Swamp.. around day 116 or 115 I found boots — a nice addition to fast expert Logistics and stables within half a day's walk of the castle.. But that's almost where the goodies ended: there were a few mini Dragon Fly Hives, there were two Griffin Conservatory-2s, but with money on the respawn — a CATASTROPHE :smile18: I collected rings for the Vial, found the flask at the Black Market (25k), managed to save up crystals (38), but after building 2 GM3s there were 18 left, couldn't upgrade the mithril.. Dragon Utopia — (a level 2 one, gave a teapot and a shield+all  ) was only found at the exit to the sands. And even then I had to struggle to take it, because the blue's flag was immediately spotted... In the end I assembled the elixir, but I didn't have any attack magic :smile48: Even gray bears wouldn't have solved 99% with FB, the problem is my crooked hands :smile04:
