Battle tactics against creatures on the map.

What methods do you use to fight neutral creatures without losing troops gradually? For the Knight, you can suggest replenishment or restoration. For the Sorceress, replenishment and vampirism are options, although they are essentially the same for everyone. The Stronghold is tricky because it lacks healing units that other factions have, especially in the early game. I'm interested in hearing your solutions to this problem.
