Divine Journey

Both reptiles ended up in the water, and while their heads were above the surface, their feet didn't feel the ground, so the well was definitely deep. After exploring the area a bit, a small natural tunnel, also filled with water, could be found.

When Nokou saw the tunnel, he surfaced and pulled his companion along with him. On the surface, he took a deep breath. He also poured two bottles of the water from the swamp into the water (this certainly wouldn't make the well any worse) and tried to fill them with as much air as possible, then tightly closed the corks. This way, he could take a couple of breaths underwater and let his companion breathe as well. Taking a deep breath, he dove again and swam into the tunnel.
