The eternal question: which heroes are better, mages or warriors?

I'm on the side of mages. No matter how you look at it, a pure warrior will always suffer from the lack of extremely useful high-level spells like town portal or gates, and from the lack of mass buffs/debuffs, and even from the ability to remove harmful enchantments... So, a skilled mage will defeat a warrior of equal level both strategically and tactically, taking advantage of these benefits. A mix of both options looks much more interesting.
