I'll leave a note here, primarily for myself. I write comments on songs as I listen to them, and I just post them in one post to make it easier to navigate.
1. Rhapsody - Knightrider of Doom - It's an okay song, energetic, but too loud for me; I'm a quiet and introverted guy, and I don't like loud music. I read the lyrics; it's about blood, revenge, and cleansing the soul – with such pompousness. Overall, the lyrics gave me negative feelings, although I usually don't mind such themes.
2. For The New Lunar Republic (Fan Music) - Not bad; they used a sound effect that I really like. (:
3. Hollywood Undead - Hear Me Now - I didn't like it; I looked at the lyrics – it's something depressing. If I liked the musical sound, I would have liked the lyrics too, but as it is, I didn't like either.
4. Gamer - The World is Saved - I liked it; both the music and the lyrics, which turned out to be surprisingly interesting, and most importantly, on a familiar theme to me. The melody itself evokes strong associations with Arandor.
5. Fairy Tail - Natsu theme - It evoked strange feelings; I liked it and didn't like it at the same time. I'll have to listen to it again. As I understand it, this is a theme song from an anime; if I knew anything about it, it would be easier for me to accept this melody.
6. Portal - credits song 'Still Alive' - I listened to it. Pros: a decent melody. Cons: I didn't understand what the lyrics were about.
7. Aperion - Dajte - Overall, I liked the music. I couldn't evaluate the lyrics – I don't know the original language, and I couldn't find a translation.
8. Pelageya - Mamina Bosanova - I didn't like the music, the vocals, or the lyrics. There's nothing more to say.
9. France - Sognu (Dream) - I didn't like it; I don't like "operatic" singing, and the lyrics about unhappy love don't appeal to me either.
10. Within Temptation - Forsaken - Great, awesome, I really liked it, it's pompous, beautiful, and the lyrics were also very good. Definitely, one of my votes goes to this song.
11. Siege - Kamelot - I was waiting for the climax and a transition to a new level throughout the melody, and it seemed like it was about to happen, but it didn't, so I didn't like the song as much as I could have.
12. Unknown - Fighter, Cleric, Thief, and Mage - On the one hand, it's a terrible performance; on the other hand, it's heartfelt. I'll think about it.
13. Tchaikovsky Overture 1812 - The Final - ending (V for Vendetta) - It should be great to listen to this song after the successful conclusion of the main character's adventures, turn off the movie, stretch, and get on with your business, but I haven't seen the movie, and the music seemed just boring to me.
14. Unknown - Requiem for a Dream - Actually, this composition is called "Requiem for a Tower"; as I remember, it was made for the promotional video of the second part of The Lord of the Rings, but it wasn't included in any official soundtrack. I liked it a lot! Sent by... could it be Loki?
15. Nanne Gronvall - Hall Om Mig - Look, Rev, I found the artist for you. I didn't like it; I looked at the lyrics – it turns out it's about love. NO SURPRISE.
16. Arkona - Slavyas, Rus - While the music was playing, it wasn't that bad, but the attempt to cosplay ancient Russian singing didn't appeal to me because I don't like ancient Russian singing in general. The lyrics are relevant to the singing, so my attitude towards it is the same.
17. (Mozart L'Opera Rock) Mikelangelo Loconte & Florent Mothe - Vivre A En Crever - Great, I also really liked it; it's the second candidate for the vote. I haven't found a translation of the song yet.
