I'm talking about the fact that after the difficult socialist times, people seem to have gone crazy with their freedom and decided that if there is freedom, then everything is allowed. People have started to lead a drastically wrong lifestyle, and television and the internet only exacerbate the situation (although our site stands out favorably, I would say). And it's not even that that's the scariest thing, because people have always been drawn to bad things. The scary thing is that bad has become the norm, sometimes even something good. This drastically reduces any hope of improvement. And if people love to get everything from life, to live for themselves, and not for others or for the country, then why be surprised that those who are... well, you understand, are in power.
Therefore, Lord's position regarding kilometer-long queues and freedom is not entirely justified. This could be tolerated if people weren't being killed and there was a real opportunity to build communism. But the latter is impossible: it's too utopian, and nothing good can come from revolutionaries who are also regicides.
