I'm not sure if it's possible because it can expand at the speed of light... Right now, at the edge of the universe, the fastest particles are expanding it... No, it's theoretically impossible to do from our planet. How can you catch up to the edge if it's moving away from us at the speed of light???
That was sarcasm. But, seriously, it might be possible; there are theories about using gravitational fields to move faster than the speed of light. But they're just theories; in practice, it's a dead end.
