God or evolution?

Let's say there are some terrorists, like Al-Qaeda, but Christian.
And they blow up people. In the name of God. That is, they commit sin, but supposedly still believe in God and maintain a connection with Him. According to your version, will they not go to hell?

In my version, they are simply fanatical zealots, and they do nothing for God. They may say so (or in reality, they just want to get more money, like the crusaders), or even think so, but in reality, they act for other purposes: money, power, or simply to satisfy their hunting instinct at the expense of other people's lives. By the way, there is a version (and in my opinion, a very good one) that the original sin lies in the substitution of the concepts of good and evil. That is, allowing oneself to do evil for some noble purposes, evil for the sake of good. Here, the situation is approximately the same: they justify evil by claiming to have a higher purpose. But even if they really had a high purpose, it never justifies the means; the means can spoil the goal and turn it from a good one into a dirty and low one. By the way, this is what happened with the communists.
