The entire clue is important here, and not just the quote, but also the explanation of it. Yes, I often made mistakes in the clues, but I have not yet made a mistake in what exactly should be considered a clue. It is important that the student did not understand what the killer shouted; he reinterpreted everything in his own way:

I wasn't sleeping; I was preparing for exams.

Obviously, the exam was supposed to be in biology, which is why he has visions of genetic worlds.
Also, this: "Paraiso Rock (2005) - a youth Argentine series." Apparently, the student was watching this series on torrents.
It is important that the killer shouted a different phrase, but one that sounds similar; this is evident from the newspaper. The closest I could find was "25 days before the world's demise in Ragnarok." So, everything is clear.
