They are becoming increasingly pompous... But still, the main character is not a paladin, even though he remains human. And, judging by the screenshots, the game has new features, new campaigns, and some old things have been changed (as you can see, the commanders are now visible on the battlefield, like in Heroes). This distinguishes the game favorably from the disappointing "Crossworlds," so I would play it.
