Didn't you say you often see friends killing each other? And Pali 1) is a guy => not prone to "emotional outbursts" 2) was confident in your logic (at least he didn't oppose it). In general, he doesn't say much, so he probably trusts those who "lead" the game a lot. And you're the one doing that mostly, Tox helps a bit, until he dies. So I doubt that, if he were the sheriff, he wouldn't have gone after "mana"-Lynx.
