How are you going to measure knowledge? Scan the brain?

This is an unnecessary measure. Even if we assume that they evolved twice as slowly as you and I (which is unlikely), they would still easily surpass us due to the time they have had to absorb knowledge.

What do you mean by truth? Are you saying that truth can be different from what they tell us? And that they don't know the real truth, but you do? Let me reveal a secret: no one claims to tell the absolute truth. A model is being built. We only need the model to work in a certain approximation – then we can apply it in practice, calculate something with a certain error. We ignore the rest as insignificant, contributing too little. And absolute truth is unlikely to be achievable, and it is not worth deluding ourselves into thinking that we are closer to it than esteemed professors: I highly doubt that this is the case. More precisely, I am 100% sure of the opposite.
