Ah, I shouldn't have said that... :(
Kird, there are very densely populated XL maps that take 10-12 months to complete, and there are very difficult maps that can take 20 months or more! Very few people manage to complete them anyway.
It should also be kept in mind that the patch for "XXL maps" cannot overcome the limitations built into the game regarding the maximum number of castles, dwellings, mines, and other objects!
And, finally, I must say that boasting about a map made in 2 days is somewhat inappropriate... ;) Good maps are made over months! And only players, not the author himself, can say whether a map was successful or not.
Uh... months, I hope, in-game months)
Yes, in general, I'm already disappointed in the possibilities of "XL and beyond" - there are really too many limitations, and it seems that the AI itself is simply not designed for such scales, and playing against people takes twice as many months as you said.
I have no one to brag to, I don't know anyone here, and you don't know me either - it turns out that someone is showing some map to some people - everyone should, in theory, be indifferent. However, as a player, I can say whether a map was successful or not, although I haven't given such a verdict) I make maps for myself, if I like it as a player, then someone else might like it too, and if I find it repulsive, then what's the point for me?)) - it's the same everywhere, for example, in art.
I tried to finalize this map - for example, I only realized now that I need to manually limit the spells in the cities), but all sorts of sudden bugs upset me so much that I didn't even want to play anymore. Maybe it's for the best. Games drain people.
