Which monster do you like the most in Heroes 5 at level 7?

Unlike the bone dragon from the 4th game... that one was a real powerhouse for me.

Yeah, the last two tiers with retaliate are a nice touch. In general, the higher-tier units in Necropolis in the 4th game were impressive. And in the 5th game, there wasn't a clear standout at level 7, but based on my initial impressions of the add-on, the Fallen Angel is very cool: it drains life, revives, but the damage range is very wide, 25-75. But that can be both a disadvantage and an advantage. It's a shame it's not a castle unit.
