Slonysh.
All roles with protection:
- advisor;
-
-
-
-
- golem;
- mistress;
- dancer.
Not the boss, because the boss made a move.
Not a Knight and not a thief for obvious reasons.
A duke wouldn't direct the shooter at himself, that is correct.
That leaves two town roles and two mafia players. Of course, artistic flourishes are just flourishes, but in my opinion, the newspaper text clearly states how the Knight missed his target.
Conclusion - Slonik is either the mistress or the dancer.
Additionally - if Thoriy is the advisor, then Slonysh only has a chance of being the golem. If Thoriy was the duke and Slonysh is the advisor - she cannot be put in prison. If Slonysh is the golem, she will be rescued by the angel.
Not a fact, but interesting - "Sacred Fury" is the name of the newspaper; a meaningful name.
In total, two main candidates for execution: Slonysh and yesterday's Rimpel. Rimpel was poisoned, which means if he is mafia, he won't move anyway, and he can be executed tomorrow, because if there is a chance to take out the dancer today, it's better to do it. No one will catch her until a whole bag of evidence is collected against her, and that won't happen, as she hasn't left a single piece of evidence so far. She has innate protection, she can be protected by the mistress, or she can use the crescent dance.
What has been happening on the last twenty pages of the thread? On the last twenty pages of the thread, votes are being split between the first candidate for execution - Slonysh - and a randomly chosen Neyra by Gil. The justification for executing Neyra is: "the mafia players used note cancellation so that the alchemist wouldn't report she is non-human (despite the presence of three non-human town roles)," and "the mafia blocked themselves."
Now Gil has deflated a bit, because since then he hasn't provided any arguments other than "trust my intuition," and out of anger shifted his vote to Arandor, apparently for further splitting or in hope of such an ХВ player pattern as "execute Arandor."
What is Gil ultimately proposing? He proposes "risking" an unsuspicious player "to cover roles," suggesting we leave the suspected Slonysh-dancer, "because we know her and will block her if necessary," but Slonysh-dancer moves before everyone else, and on the next night uses the crescent dance, and by doing so we:
- hang a completely random player today, likely a townie;
- get another mafia kill at night or even two from the Knight;
- be unable to hang anyone at all the next day;
- lose.
That is a brief description of what's happening this day, as well as certain calculations regarding candidates for imprisonment.
Decide, you clueless town.
