Did the graphics of Heroes 3 not deter you from wanting to play?

The graphics have never bothered me; quite the opposite, I've always admired them. I often watch the creature animations when I recruit them in the city, even though I've been playing since the "King's Bounty" days (though not very often), but it never gets old.
