As for the movies, I watched the new "Idiot" and "The Brothers Karamazov." I liked the first one, but not the second one so much. The director cut out too much from the narrative; some important plot lines are completely missing, and those that are included are shortened and incomplete. "The Idiot," in my opinion, was filmed much closer to the original text.
