Even if you have high diplomacy, the Necropolis army grows well anyway. It's not badly implemented; it's just a shame that you can't recycle various mechanisms. I played, and I had so many extra golems and gargoyles from the magic castle, but the Temple won't take them, which might be for the best – the Elves would have cried at such lawlessness from the Necromancers.
