January 9, 1905 ("Bloody Sunday"), the day government troops opened fire on a peaceful procession of St. Petersburg workers (over 140,000) marching to the Winter Palace with a petition to Emperor Nicholas II. Over 1,000 people were killed, and 2,000 were wounded. This tragedy marked the beginning of the 1905-07 Revolution. And after this, Nicholas II was added to the ranks of the SAINTS!!! I believe in God, but after this, I don't want to believe in the church anymore!!!
Let's recall another case: the Bolsheviks could have simply seized power and sent the royal family into exile, as they initially did, but that wasn't enough for Lenin. Nicholas II, his wife, and children were brutally shot, and it was done in SECRET. Eleven bullets were fired into the 11-year-old Tsarevich Alexei, plus a final shot to the head. The Bolsheviks didn't stop there. They shot all the intellectuals who hadn't managed to hide, as well as the peasants (PEASANTS!!!) who refused to renounce God. I won't even talk about the repressions! And now, answer me one question: who should be called the bloodthirsty one? Considering that, as Magnus rightly pointed out, Nicholas was not in the palace that Sunday and had no idea what was happening! The "bloodthirsty" title was imposed on him by the communists to make themselves look like heroes in the eyes of the people, whom they themselves were shooting at!
